SOLUTIONS

work in progress

Unless it is stopped, the industries of animal agriculture (7,900,000,000 animals killed every year) and fishing (2,500,000,000,000 killed every year) will cause so much pollution that the planet will not be able to sustain much, if any, life. This is even if all of the other known measures are taken to avert climate breakdown.

We quickly need to embrace the solutions like getting rid of animal agriculture, animal farms and the fishing industry and working toward a plant-based food system.
Rewilding and Veganic (also known as "vegan organic" & "stockfree") are clearly the most sensible solutions to lessen pollution and reverse climate change.

Planting trees indiscriminately isn't a solution. Evidence shows that trees need to be sympathetic to where they are planted. Specific trees are suitable for specific areas. For example; trees in cold icy areas don't help, yet, in hot climates do. Should everything planted also be a food plant - what about edible forests where most trees, bushes and plants are edible... see more info at the Agroforestry Research Trust, also Addy & Ken Fern - theferns.info - created Plants for a Future which is a database of over 8000 edible and medicinal plants.

Veganic / Stockfree Farming
The use of chemicals on the land needs to stop. e.g. pesticide use is another killer of wildlife. The vegan organic method uses no animal products (e.g. manure, bone) or pestcides, fingicides, herbicides on the land...

Hemp is, perhaps, the most beneficial plants to/on the planet - the benefits are explained in this report from the British Hemp Alliance. It can be grown and farmed legally in the UK under licence from the UK government. This 2020 Hemp Spotlight report PDF from the Savills Research team explains about all one needs to know about hemp!
